Corey Barker has been a well-known Photoshop instructor for the past 10 years but has been using Photoshop for the past 20 years. Starting in version 2.0 Corey has used and mastered every version since and continues to inspire through his art and teachings with the latest versions. Corey attended the Ringling College of Art & Design where he was pursuing a degree in Illustration and discovered Photoshop in his 4th year and it was at that moment the craftsman found his tool of choice.

Corey has since gone on to became an award-winning designer and educator in a variety of fields. In 2006 he joined the Photoshop guys on the popular podcast Photoshop TV and is a regular contributor to Photoshop User  magazine where he writes the popular Down & Dirty Tricks column. He is also author of the best-selling books The Down & Dirty Tricks for Designers Vol 1 & 2. Corey also teaches at  live events such Photoshop World and Adobe MAX. He also taught the Down & Dirty Tricks seminar tour teaching thousands live all over the country.

Corey was recently inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame for his contributions to the education of Photoshop and continues to inspire through his online training, books, articles, and training events. He also recently founded PhotoshopMasterFX.com. Which is a Photoshop design and effects online training site with inspired imagery and next level training to get the most you can out of Photoshop and your creative self.

It  is hard to name just one movie because I have several like: Shawshank Redemption, Raiders of the Lost Ark, LA Confidential, Inception (Pretty much every Chris Nolan movie), Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Lethal Weapon franchise, Social Network, Pulp Fiction.

Favorite TV Shows:
Like movies, I have a lot of favorite shows: Big Bang Theory, Psych, How It's Made, Deadliest Catch, Californication, Entourage, Family Guy, Seinfeld to name a few.

Music I Listen To:
I like all kinds but I mostly like: 70s and 80s, Classical, Classic Rock, Hair Bands, some Hip-Hop and when I am working I like to listen to movie scores and soundtracks.
I CAN'T STAND COUNTRY! (It literally gives me a headache!)

Favorite Music Composer:
As for classical I enjoy Mozart and Rachmaninoff. Movie score I love John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, and James Horner. 

Favorite Fast Food:
I am a sucker for the McRib! Don't know why and don't care.

Favorite Movie Director:
Again tough to name one, so a few of my favs are: Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Frank Darabont, John Woo (Back when he was awesome!), Quentin Tarantino, James Cameron, Guy Ritchie,  and yes, I like Michael Bay. His movies may be over the top but they are fun to watch!

Actors I Like:
Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Gene Hackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino, Morgan Freeman, Mel Gibson (Before he got all weird), Daniel Day Lewis, Kevin Spacey.

Actresses I Like:
Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Mann, Halle Berry, Melissa McCarthy, Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Milas Kunis.

Things I Like To Do:
Ride roller coasters, travel, movies, read non-fiction, ride go-carts, hang out at Barnes and Noble, play movie trivia, and of course playing in Photoshop.
